Andre Renoux (1939-2002) was born in Oran, Algeria. Much of his work takes place in his adopted home of Paris, France. He studied at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Nice and Ecole des Arts Modernes in Paris from 1957 to 1960, and held his first international exhibition in 1962 in Beirut, Lebanon, continuing to show his work throughout the world for the remainder of his life. His work has been purchased by French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac and can be found in major corporate collections such as IBM, LU General Biscuit and the French Ministry of Tourism.
